Creation Days

The following information will multiply your understanding of Genesis and increase your faith in the truthfulness of both God's written Word and scientific evidence. Each creation day was created with three sets of "Let there be" statements from God. This is a major piece of the puzzle concerning the biblical story of creation. As with every puzzle, one has to find the correct pieces and place them in the correct places. In some instances, the "Let there be" statement was hidden (not spoken). In other instances, it was spoken but found within another day. The good news is that the puzzle has already been put together. All we need to do is to take it apart, one piece at a time, and examine each piece, or "Let there be" statement.

The main thing to remember is that all creation days, sooner or later, have three "Let there be" statements from God. This pattern is repeated throughout the Bible. Whenever God wanted to create a new day or law, He would speak three sets of creative words, which manifested an evening, a morning, and a seed in the form of light. Jesus also used this pattern of three when He wanted Peter to head His church on earth. Jesus said to Peter,"Feed my lamb, feed my sheep, and feed my sheep" (John 21:15-17). Then when Jesus wanted the gospel to be preached to the Gentiles, He showed Peter in a vision all manners of four-footed beasts of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and fowls of the air and told him three times to rise, kill, and eat (Acts 10:11-16).

In a later chapter of my new book God Uncovers Creation, there is a section called "Bible Mysteries," where we will see that even the number of the antichrist's name, which is 666, lends creditability to the hypothesis that it takes three "Let there be" statements to make a day. Why would it take three "Let there be" statements to create a single day? I believe it has to do with the Holy Trinity. God is three persons but only one God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit were the pattern used to create each of the creation days.

When God spoke the words "Let there be light," both darkness and waters were already present (Genesis 1:1-2). Since God is the creator of everything, we can assume He created both the darkness and the waters before He even started this creation. At the end of this creation, God will speak words that will cause the heavens and the earth to melt (II Peter 3:10). I believe that both the darkness and the waters were residue substances left over from the destruction of God's previous creation. The creation we live in now is the result of the six days of creation. Each of the six days was created with three sets of spoken words or "Let there be" statements.

I believe God's spoken words concerning creation are universal laws. These eighteen universal laws that God spoke during the six days of creation created the parameters that govern all creation. When God chooses to remove the eighteen spoken universal laws (six days of creation) He used to create the world we live in now, our heavens and earth will melt into darkness and waters. Once again God will be ready to speak the words "Let there be light."

The following chart depicts the three parts of each creation day's evening, morning, and seed light. The italicized words belong to the days where the "Let there be" statements are not found in the Bible but are believed to have been spoken, or spoken without the words "Let there be."

I have used the King James Version of the Bible on this website as well as in my book.
